The Lighthouse Hostel - Sagres

I recently stayed at The Lighthouse Hostel for 3 weeks and it was the best place for me. The cleanliness was top-notch, with the staff being overly cautious about cleaning. The atmosphere was international and friendly, and the pool was the best. The hostel had well-maintained gardens and common areas, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The bungalows provided all the basic utilities for a pleasant stay. It was conveniently located, only 5 minutes by car from the nearest beaches and a short walk to supermarkets and restaurants.

My recent stay at the hostel was fantastic. The hostel had a spacious and modern design, and it was evident that the staff took great care in maintaining the cleanliness and overall management of the hotel. The outdoor area with games, pool, and rooftop terrace provided plenty of opportunities for relaxation and socializing. I particularly enjoyed starting my day with fresh pastries on the sun-drenched garden terrace. The atmosphere was friendly and cute, and it was easy to make new friends with the other guests from all over the world. The hostel also provided great value for money, with amenities such as surf rentals, free breakfast, and organized activities in the evenings. the location was ideal, with great restaurants nearby and easy access to various surfing spots. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as occasional slow Wi-Fi and creaky beds, my overall experience was really good. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-managed accommodation option. I had a fantastic five days at this hostel!

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Sagres. The atmosphere was cozy and open, thanks to the amazing owners Borja and Sergio. The facilities were clean and well-organized, and I especially loved the spacious kitchen and living room. The outdoor area with the pool, barbecue, and rooftop terrace was absolutely amazing. The free morning yoga lesson was a great addition too. I highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a sun and surf getaway.

We had an amazing experience at the Lighthouse Hostel! the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful natural surroundings made it a true oasis. the staff, including Jack, Janne, Arthuro, Robin. the hostel's setting in a stunning natural reserve and its proximity to great surf beaches were definite highlights. the beds were comfortable, and the common areas, such as the barbecue area, pool, and bar. We especially enjoyed the spacious terrace and the daily, complimentary yoga lessons with a talented instructor. Finally, the breakfast of pancakes, coffee, and juice was a delightful surprise. Cons: Nothing to be said 😊.

I stayed at The Lighthouse Hostel for a week and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Behind the white wall, you'll find a small paradise with a pool, chillout areas, and even pilates and yoga activities. The evening barbecues were a highlight, where you could grill your own food and enjoy a beer at the cool bar. The warm lights and candles created a cozy atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The daily lighthouse view was simply amazing. it was a lovely experience!

loved the oasis-like atmosphere, friendly dog to cuddle, free pingpong and table soccer, clean private room with lovely terrace, delicious free pancakes every morning, warm and friendly lounge with a dvd player.

No free food available occasionally.

The Lighthouse Hostel in Sagres is a cute and cozy place, with clean dorms and bungalows. The staff creates a friendly atmosphere and the open barbecue brings people together. The food is delicious and well-served, and waking up and relaxing in the hammock is the perfect way to start the day.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur de la ville, à proximité du centre historique. On peut facilement se déplacer à pied pour découvrir les différents sites touristiques. De plus, la rue est calme et le stationnement est gratuit, ce qui est très pratique. La chambre est climatisée et la literie est confortable. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible 24h/24. Le petit déjeuner offre une variété de choix.

The atmosphere at Funky Monkey was incredible. The staff made us feel like family and the hostel itself felt like a hidden oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed the surfing lessons and the cool bar and common area. The location was perfect, with beautiful beaches just a short walk away. The staff were also very accommodating when we needed to make a change to our reservation. we had an amazing stay at Funky Monkey and can't wait to go back!

The value for money at the Lighthouse Hostel was great, and the room wassuper clean and cozy. The location was convenient, and the staff was friendly and cute.

The morning meal could be improved with more variety in the options.
